Man fatally stabbed in Greenbelt home

GREENBELT, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police are investigating after a man was found fatally stabbed in a Greenbelt home Tuesday night.

The victim has been identified as Kelley Wainwright Robbins, 38, of Irving, Texas, police said.

Greenbelt police responded to the 9100 block of Edmonston Road around 10:04 p.m. and found Robbins on the couch suffering from stab wounds to his neck, according to authorities.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police arrested 38-year-old, Patrick Corie Hunter on the scene in connection with the incident. The weapon used in the stabbing was recovered, police said.

Hunter is being charged with first degree murder, second degree murder, and first degree assault.
