PGCPS To Host Public Forums On School Boundaries

According to Prince George’s County Public Schools:

The Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) Office of Pupil Accounting and School Boundaries will host three public forums to provide an opportunity for students, parents and community members to share ideas on improving school boundaries. Public input will be used to develop recommendations that will be presented to the Board of Education.

Topics include addressing boundary concerns at Kingsford, Highland Park, Yorktown, and Baden elementary schools; discussing the possibility of shifting sixth grade into middle schools; adjusting boundaries for specialty programs; and ensuring that all students in a neighborhood attend the same schools.
