Hundreds flooded the National Harbor Waterfront this past weekend for a world-class culinary event.

The 5th Annual National Harbor Wine & Food Festival brought together area chefs, artisanal craftsmen, live jazz music, and culinary pioneers on the banks of the Potomac River.

Over 150 different fine wines, beers, and spirits were featured along with local and regional favorites like Fenwick Wine Cellars located in Delaware and Boordy Vineyards found in Maryland. My favorite wine was a semi-dry red with hints of dark fruit & berries named Ambrosia by Fenwick Wine Cellars.

In addition to wine, there was a Cinco De Mayo Pavilion featuring Hornitos tequila, a special craft beer tasting experience, a Whiskey and Bourbon tasting experience paired with hand rolled cigars, three stages of live music as well as worldwide vendors.

“The Wine & Food Festival was easily accessible and full of entertainment. I would absolutely come back next year- great wine, great experience,” explained Maryland resident, Amy Shields.
